Have you ever wanted to create a photomanipulation in an older style or using a past cliche, perhaps with big, fluffy dresses or butterfly wings? Perhaps you wanted to make a lizard-creature or a vampire? Get excited! This is your chance to modernize an older look and win prizes!!
To celebrate DA's birthday, we'll be going retroactive. That means your job is to create a NEW photomanipulation from an older style. Do not copy someone else's art; rather, create a new, unique artwork inspired by an older style or theme.
This is not an attempt to bring back old styles or cliches. Rather, this contest is a chance to celebrate the evolution of the photomanipulation community. Here's the trick: Your job is to take an old style or theme and make it your own: fresh, relevant, unique, and creative!
