We´re trying to resume the activity of the group and that´s why we´re going to start with our first contest of the year.

 

THEME

 “Sewing a dress”

 

SCENARIO: 

Claudia is a girl who is going to a costume party. She has decided to wear a vintage dress. And you will have to sew her dress.

But you´ll have to follow some  conditions.

    1.    The dress will be a XVII, XVIII or XIX century dress

    2.    You can only use your own photos “to make” the dress. In the comments of the manip you´ll have to show the pictures used by link or stash. You can use your own textures, pictures of fabrics, photos of laces… Don´t use stock pictures! This is a very important rule!

    3.    You can help yourselves painting but the things painted are not considered  as your own stock. It means that the dress can´t be painted only. You must create it with your own pictures.

    4.    But It is allowed to use stock of others in the background or in the rest of elements of the manip.

TERMS

Starting date: 15th February. Deadline: 15th May.

STOCK: These are the pictures of the model you have to use. Everybody who wants to participate must send a note to the group with the number of the picture selected and we´ll give  you a link to download it .

GENERAL RULES

         You must be a member of   to participate.  Join us! Creating with your own stock is funny and it is not as difficoult as it can look by the nacked eye!

           Only photomanipulations and mixed media are accepted, however you have to follow the conditions previously stated.

           Your artwork must be new. It has to be created exclusively for this contest.

           All the entries must include a link to this journal and the group icon in the description.

          Entries are limited to two submissions per artist but only one can win.

         Violence, racism, gore, etc. are absolutely  prohibited. Obviously,  because the theme of the contest,  nudity is not allowed. Dark is welcome as long as your artwork is made with good artistic taste.

         You must to credit YOUR OWN STOCK BY LINK OR STASH. (the one used in the dress) and you must credit the stock used in the background or scene in the same way. If the stock come from someone who has deactivated his account you must credit the name of the original owner. 

         No Da watermark. Just your single signature.

         Submit your entries to the contest folder.

         We reserve the right to eliminate any artwork  that don´t follow the contest rules.

The judges will be the group administrators. The effort and the own photos used for creating the dress will be valued. Not only how well done is the manip.
